Conference participants had the opportunity to learn about practical and effective health literacy solutions, ranging from how to write and design effective communication to tools for addressing low health insurance literacy and numeracy skills. IHA’s conference also offers attendees interactive experiences that included the Live Media Event on Stories and Lessons-Learned from the Affordable Care Act and breakout sessions that taught participants how to use Twitter to convey simple health messages and a skills workshop in which attendees learned best practices from actual low literacy learners and their tutors.
Tuition fees start as low as $299. Register by April 10, 2015, to receive the discounted rates. Click here for the Tuition Schedule: http://www.iha4health.org/iha-conference/
