At the Institute of Medicine Roundtable on Health Literacy last November, Arkansas Department of Health’s Medical Director for Immunizations and Medical Advisor for Health Literacy and Communication, Dr. Jennifer Dillaha gave a presentation about ADH’s efforts to address low health literacy.
Implications of Health Literacy for Public Health is the summary of that workshop convened by the Institute of Medicine Roundtable on Health Literacy in November 2013 that focused on the implications of health literacy for the mission and essential services of public health.
