New UAMS Center for Health Literacy and Director

“Kristie Hadden, PhD, an alumni and secondary faculty of the Fay W. Boozman College of Public Health (COPH) at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), is the new director of the recently established UAMS Center for Health Literacy (CHL). Dr. Hadden has served as the director of the UAMS Health Literacy Program since its inception in 2011 and earned her PhD in Health Promotion and Prevention Research at the College in 2012. She is an Assistant Professor in the College of Medicine and also holds secondary appointments in the UAMS Colleges of Health Professions and Pharmacy. Her COPH appointment is in the Department of Health Behavior and Health Education.”
